I cannot thank you enough for your performance on Saturday – your were superb.  I was not looking at my watch but I think you gave us much more than we contracted for, thank you. Many people have said to me how good you were and the depth of musicianship and talent were very evident; I am so glad that I found you, you really made the evening go with a bang. I would be more than happy to give you my wholehearted endorsement! We had a tremendous evening and Alice was so happy. Thank you. When I was looking for bands I saw your impressive list of previous engagements – it was a major selling point. For me  – once I saw that you had done officers messes and big public events it was clear what a depth of experience and ability you have. You were clearly going to be the right kind of band for us. People remarked on the good balance and volume which made it easy to dance but equally easy to talk at the bar or sit and spectate. The other selection criteria for me were – a keyboard which gives great depth and range of music – the keyboard was great, and a girl singer – and you were fantastic. Lovely to have a lead singer as pretty as you too! But the whole band were great – I am sorry I did not catch everyone’s names but great drumming and excellent bass (love the LEDs on the fret board!) and superb lead guitar. My friend Jamie and I are (very amateur) guitarists and we were marvelling at the relaxed lead pieces – very impressive. Thanks too for all the energy you put in – it really got everyone going. If I have a chance I will recommend you to any others looking for a band. Both Alice and Laura do marketing events in London – they may need a band and any of my old Army friends locally may prove good leads – so keep in touch.

I was recommended Tanya and the Mojo band by another band (who unfortunately let us down) – the booking process was straight forward and Tanya took time to talk to us about what we wanted and the general format.  Do visit the website – what you hear is what you get so it’s a great introduction.  I felt extremely comfortable that Tanya had all the detail she needed and would not let us down. Tanya offered to sing a song for me live, directly after the ceremony – it really made it special and personal and a little more interesting than just a track playing. The Lounge Duo then played after the ceremony while we did photos and chilled out prior to the wedding breakfast.  In the evening, the full band was set up and after our first dance, we were away – Tanya sang all evening (with a break for a bacon buttie!) and then encouraged guests to sing with her.  As the bride I felt it appropriate to have a bit of a sing song and we had a ball singing a bit of Queen together……great fun!! The team give you a relaxed event, they are great fun and the music was great!

We booked MOJO for our wedding reception having heard them play a couple of works Christmas parties as we were always impressed. Once again you didn’t disappoint! Just had to drop you a quick note, following last night’s ball, fundraising for Swindon SANDS.
What a fantastic evening!! We have had many of the guests come up to us (last night and this morning) to say what a great band you were; catering for everybody from teens to us, shall we say, slightly ‘more mature’ guests. The mix of music was great, borne out by the amount of audience participation later in the evening!! I have to admit that I have not seen a dance floor so full, for so long, at similar events before – a credit to your careful set selection. The fact that you coped so seamlessly with the change of timings also bares witness to your utmost professionalism.
You will no doubt be interested to know that we raised just short of £6,000 !
We will be setting the date for next years ball within the next couple of weeks and I am confident that you will be receiving a call from us!

Wedding Reception, Abbey House Gardens, Wiltshire
We booked Mojo to play at our wedding reception at Abbey House Gardens in June 2012. In the run up to our big day the band were extremely professional, providing us with a cd recording of some of their music and a very long list of the tracks they cover. Tanya was extremely helpful in helping us decide on a first dance and was always quick to reply to our queries. Even though we were running late on the day the band were extremely accommodating and changed their playing time to suit us.
On the night Mojo were absolutely fantastic, playing excellent cover versions of tracks from throughout the decades. Their variety of music and quality of performance ensured that the dance floor was full for the entire evening and they managed to get people of all ages up onto the floor. Mojo are an extremely talented and entertaining band and their touches of flair, such as one band member being able to play a guitar behind his head, really added something to the evening. They even caved into demands for ‘one more track’ at the end of their set and received a well deserved round of applause at the end of the night. We would definitely have no hesitation in recommending Mojo to others!

The music was wonderful and had the whole party up and dancing. Tanya was really organised and helpful, spending time on the phone beforehand to adapt the band’s sets to our own requirements, and kindly offering members of our wedding party their chance on-stage. One guest took up the offer – playing the drums to a Bryan Adams number. MOJO’s performance impressed everyone and was the perfect, thrilling finale to an amazing day. We aimed to create a relaxed atmosphere both during the day and through the evening which would ensure that ever one had a fantastic time and making our wedding special.
After contemplating using a DJ we decided on a band to create this atmosphere and were lucky enough to see MOJO 18 months ago at a friends wedding. We decided then and there that if we were to get married then they would be providing the music.
We have to thank all the band and especially Tanya for the efforts they went to, travelling all the way to Hampshire to make our wedding a night to remember. The music selected by the band was spot on for this type of event. So I will certainly be looking to bring MOJO back to BAWA. I will be booking acts for our Dinner Dance events 2011 around April/May so I will be in touch around that time to sort a booking(s) for 2011.

My husband and I had a really fantastic time at our wedding reception. We received so many compliments about the quality of the band. The wide range of music that you played really appealed to everyone who was there, we couldn’t guess what was coming next but we knew it would be good! One of our favourite moments of the whole day was looking across the dance floor during the last two songs watching all of our friends and family dancing away, singing along and having a great time. There were people on that dance floor all night even people we didn’t expect at all were rocking away! Mojo was an absolutely amazing and professional band, and great with communication so we didn’t have a thing to worry about on the day! They set up while we were finishing our speeches and I hadn’t even realised they had turned up and were all ready to go! Also they invited a very good friend of ours to get up on stage and sing for us, which was so special, it was such great fun. I loved the fact that the music was a total mix – one minute we were dancing to the Kaiser Chiefs and the next Abba, and you made it cool!! Everything worked so well and the sound was amazing.
